Dona Pattal Lamination Machine
Engineered for Consistent Lamination of Disposable Plate Base Paper
The quality of a disposable paper plate begins long before it reaches the forming press. A properly laminated paper roll determines how well the finished dona or pattal performs when exposed to hot food, oil, or moisture. Mohindra’s Dona Pattal Lamination Machine is developed to produce uniformly laminated paper rolls that maintain their strength throughout the converting process.
Instead of applying uneven pressure that can create weak bonding or surface distortion, the machine controls web movement, roller pressure, and heating simultaneously. This balanced operation helps produce paper rolls with a smooth laminated surface, making them suitable for high-speed paper plate manufacturing lines. From small production units to large commercial converters, the machine delivers stable performance with minimal operator intervention.

How the Machine Works
The production cycle starts with a paper roll mounted on the unwinding section. As the material travels through the machine, the web remains under controlled tension to prevent stretching, edge curling, or wrinkles. The paper then passes through a precision lamination section where carefully regulated temperature and pressure create a uniform bond across the entire roll width.
Every roller is aligned to maintain consistent contact pressure, preventing dry spots or excessive coating build-up. After lamination, the finished material moves to the rewinding section where it is wound into compact rolls ready for the next stage of disposable plate production.
This controlled process improves downstream performance by reducing paper cracking, improper forming, and surface defects during die pressing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Our technical team provides installation support, machine commissioning, operator training, and production guidance to help customers achieve stable machine performance from the beginning.
Production capacity depends on paper GSM, roll width, lamination material, machine configuration, and the required product quality. The machine is designed to maintain consistent output without compromising lamination quality.
The machine incorporates a temperature-controlled heating system that maintains stable bonding conditions throughout production. The heating arrangement can be configured according to the selected lamination process.
Yes. The machine can be manufactured in different working widths to match production capacity, paper roll size, and factory requirements.
Maintaining uniform web tension prevents wrinkles, edge wandering, and uneven lamination. This ensures the laminated paper feeds smoothly into downstream paper plate or dona making machines.
Yes. It is designed for roll-to-roll continuous operation with stable web handling, making it suitable for single-shift as well as multi-shift production environments.
Yes. The machine can be configured for various paper grades, GSM ranges, and food-grade paper substrates depending on the customer's production requirements.
The machine is widely installed in disposable tableware manufacturing plants, paper converting units, food packaging industries, catering product manufacturers, and businesses producing eco-friendly disposable products.
The machine laminates paper rolls used for manufacturing disposable dona, pattal, paper plates, and paper bowls. A uniform laminated surface improves the paper's resistance to moisture and oil while providing better strength during the forming process.
