Pre-printed material presents a different challenge for foil stamping than general foil stamping does. Small variations in web tension, stretch of material or repeat length can cause the foil to drift from the desired position. The result may be an uneven border, partially covered logo or visible difference between the printed and metallic elements.

Our Registered Hot Foil Printing Machine uses mark-sensing and synchronized web-control technology to manage these variations. The sensor continuously detects the registration mark printed beside the design. When a deviation is identified, the control system adjusts the material movement to bring the next design into the correct stamping position.
