Slitting quality depends on consistent material movement, proper tension and right alignment of the cutting mechanism. The Cantilever Slitting Machine is designed to control the web travel from the unwinding, slitting and final rewinding.

The configuration of the appropriate slitting processes (depending on the material being treated) achieves clean, consistent edges. The adjustable tension eliminates roll formation difficulties such as loose winding, over stretching and telescoping.

The cantilever winding configuration also gives easy access to finished rolls, making roll removal during routine manufacturing easier.

The Cantilever Slitting Machine can be adapted for a variety of flexible substrates for packaging, converting, printing and associated sectors. These include BOPP, PET, PE, CPP, PVC, laminated films, paper, aluminum foil and other suitable web materials.

It has a web guiding and tension control mechanism which assists in holding the material in its proper position throughout processing. According to the characteristic and thickness of the substrate, the slitting width, winding tension and other operating parameters can be modified.

Machine configurations can be changed to suit the desired web width, completed roll size, number of slits and production application.
