Fully Automatic Drum Type Slitting Machine

The fully automatic drum-type slitting machine by Mohindra Mechanical Works is used for high-speed slitting and rewinding of film, paper, and other flexible packaging materials. The machine is suitable for production units where proper tension control, smooth rewinding, and clean slitting quality are important for daily manufacturing work.

The complete machine runs through a single main motor that provides stable and smooth operation during production. In the unwinding section, a pneumatic pick-up braking system is provided for handling bigger jumbo rolls properly. This braking arrangement controls the roll movement during unwinding and helps maintain smooth web flow inside the machine.

After the slitting process, the material is rewound on two separate shafts. Both rewind shafts are fitted with individual motors that maintain proper tension on each rewind roll separately. Because of this system, the machine produces tight, smooth, and properly finished rolls with better rewinding quality for further converting applications.
