Solvent Base Lamination Machine
Flexible Solvent and Water-Based Lamination for Films, Foils and Paper
Converts that need strong, consistent bonding on flexible packaging films, aluminium foil, metallized substrates and paper will find our Solvent Base Lamination Machine ideal. The precision gravure coating technology applies solvent-based adhesive to a uniform layer and then the multi-zone drying chamber evaporates the solvent before the coated web is laminated to the secondary material.
The machine can also be configured as a Solvent Water Lamination Machine for manufacturers processing appropriate water-based adhesives. This dual-process versatility enables packaging businesses to cater to multiple substrate combinations, adhesive systems and customer needs on a single manufacturing platform.

Engineered for High-Strength Solvent-Based Lamination
Packaging constructions that call for reliable bonding, chemical resistance and consistent performance in printing, slitting, pouch forming and product filling often choose for solvent-based adhesives. Bond quality, however, depends on proper adhesive coating, complete solvent evaporation and controlled lamination pressure.
Our Solvent Base Lamination Machine applies a measured adhesive layer using a gravure coating system. The coated web travels through independently controlled drying zones, where regulated temperature, airflow and exhaust remove the solvent before lamination.
This controlled process prevents residual solvent, poor bonding, bubbles and delamination. It is appropriate for BOPP, PET, CPP, PE, LDPE, MetPET, aluminium foil, paper and other compatible flexible packaging substrates.
Designed for Solvent and Water-Based Adhesive Flexibility
Packaging converters may receive orders needing different adhesive systems. For more demanding film and foil structures, solvent based glue may be preferred while a compatible water based adhesive may be selected for particular paper, film and environmentally sensitive applications.
The machine can be constructed as a Solvent and Water Based Lamination Machine with proper coating, drying and exhaust arrangements. The coating weight, drying temperature, airflow, web tension and production speed can be adapted by the operators depending on the selected adhesive and material combination.
This versatility allows producers to diversify their product range without the need to establish whole separate lamination lines for each appropriate adhesive procedure.
